My Copyright has been breached.

Firstly, if this is the case REStuff unreservedly apologies and we will remove the content. Please read below so that we can resolve this as quickly as possible.

Is the content actually on REstuff?

REStuff has two types of content:

1)Downloads: These are resources that are download from our site.

2)Links: These are pages on 3rd party sites and are not owned by REStuff and your use of these falls under the 3rd party's copyright.

3)We expect users to link pages on other sites and not directly to files.

If the content that breached your copyright is a link then presuming that the site that is hosting it is legitimate then there is no breach it is simply a link which gives the copyright holder additional traffic. In this case REStuff is acting in a similar way to a search engine and helping people find resources.

As a courtesy I have gained permission from CLEO and Damaris to link to their pages.

If the content is a direct link to a picture or pdf (situation 3), then please contact me and I will amend the link to reference the page not the file.

No the material is a file hosted by REStuff.

Okay I am sorry that this has occurred please contact me with the following information:

1) What book/resource has been used and what page number.
2) What exactly is the breach - is it the whole file, a picture etc
2) Are you the copyright holder or have you noticed copyright material.
4) What is the name of the file.
5) What is the link to the file

I will remove the content immediately and then try and see if permission can be obtained or the resource amended to remove the material (e.g. if the problem is a picture in a powerpoint/worksheet).

Copyright Breach

Why has this happened?

REStuff is a resource sharing site it relies on teachers and others to upload material that they have made. The terms and conditions specify that materials should not be in breach of copyright. It is not possible however for REStuff to check that all material complies to this.

We therefore rely on people to inform us when breaches occur.
